meetIn is a straightforward application designed to facilitate the discovery and connection of contacts and friends during travel, enabling in-person meetings with ease.

Upon registration, users have the ability to modify their password, update their profile details, and set their current location. The platform also allows users to invite friends, colleagues, or family members to join meetIn, facilitating the scheduling of meetups.

meetIn offers the capability to connect with contacts worldwide by importing contacts directly from the phone book. Users can add and locate business contacts, associates, and friends from their existing network.

An integrated Travel Plan tracker enables users to update their location status. Additionally, users can input their interests and specialties, which enhances the search experience by allowing more targeted contact discovery. The application supports maintaining relationships with friends, family, and colleagues regardless of travel status. Furthermore, meetIn integrates with popular social networking platforms to provide real-time updates about friends’ locations, whether at home or traveling, facilitating potential meetups when proximity aligns.

Application Workflow:

1. Registration is initiated using a mobile number. An SMS containing a verification code is sent to authenticate the user's mobile number.
2. Following verification, users are prompted to complete their profile by providing details such as name, email, password, gender, location, interests, and other relevant information.
3. Upon first login, the application displays the user's current location on a map alongside nearby friends. As this is the initial login, users will need to add friends to their network.
